The Metropolitan Transportation Authority's "Fastrack" maintenance program is coming to the 1 train for the first time.

Starting tonight, and for the next three nights, service on the 1 will be suspended between 96th Street and Dyckman Street.

The 1 will run between 242nd Street and Dyckman Street, with southbound trains skipping the 207th Street station.

The 1 will also run between South Ferry station and 96th Street, where it will switch to the 3 line up to 148th Street.

Riders are advised to use the A train or free shuttle buses as alternates.

The disruptions run from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. through Friday morning.
