A suspect that police say was involved with a drug ring in the Bronx is now also suspected by police of killing a young woman.

Catherine Morales, 28, has been arraigned on murder charges in connection with the death of Aisha Morales.

The 21-year-old victim was found shot in the head in Longwood in the summer of 2011.

Investigators say that Catherine Morales was a suspect early on in the investigation, as she was thought to be a drug dealer in the neighborhood.

She is not related to the victim.

No court date has been set.

Officials say that the investigation into the shooting has led to several drug arrests.
