An early morning fire that ripped through a house in Queens is under investigation.

Flames broke out inside a two-story home located at 104-19 198th Street in Hollis shortly before midnight.

It took more than 100 firefighters about two hours to get the fire under control.

One witness described the scene as being chaotic.

"We heard people screaming, me and my friend called 911. We tried to run up to the window, but it was too much smoke, so I don't know," said the witness.

No injuries were reported. ClientIP:,, UserAgent: CCBot/2.0 ( Profile: TWCSAMLSP
