With the record-breaking cold temperatures, many New Yorkers need warm coats now more than ever.

So far, New York Cares says they have received 29,000 coat donations, but there have been more than 100,000 requests for coats.

They're asking for gently used, freshly laundered coats.

You can drop them off at New York City police precincts, Bryant Park, the New York Cares warehouse and hundreds of other locations throughout the five boroughs.

To find a location nearest to you, visit their website at newyorkcares.org.

The coat drive ends February 7.
