More than two dozen people are planning to sue Metro-North after last month's deadly derailment in the Bronx.

Thirty-six notices of claim have been filed against either the railroad or the trains driver William Rockefeller.

All of the claimants were aboard the train when it jumped the tracks near the Spuyten Duyvil station on December 1.

Investigators say it was traveling at three times the normal speed at the time.

Four people were killed and dozens more injured.

Rockefeller's union says he may have lost focus at the controls as the train went into a sharp turn.

Metro-North is currently undergoing a 60-day review of its safety procedures.
