Knicks star Carmelo Anthony addressed the media for the first time since he was injured last Monday and said he is "feeling a lot better."
Anthony spoke at the Knicks practice facility after a workout, talking about everything from the ankle sprain that's caused him to miss three games to the team's woeful record after 30 contests.
"Getting there, feeling a lot better. Each day, you know, getting better and better,” Anthony said.
“The effort is definitely not there some days. Or it's there and then sometimes it's not. We play with effort in spurts," Anthony said.
As Anthony said, he expects to travel with the team for its Thursday game at San Antonio, although it's still not clear if he will play.
