A 19-year-old man is under arrest after allegedly getting into a gunfight with police in Queens.

Officers stopped William Bazemore near Beach Channel Drive in Far Rockaway at around 12:30 a.m. Friday after they say they noticed a bulge in his sweatshirt.

Police say Bazemore pulled a revolver and opened fire.

The officers shot back, but no one was hit.

Bazemore was caught a short time later, and a gun was recovered at the scene.

He faces charges of attempted murder, reckless endangerment, weapons possession and attempted assault.

Police say he was treated for minor facial injuries.
