The Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree may get most of the tourists, but Dyker Heights continues to steal some of the attention with its dazzling light display.
Houses bursting with colored lights and lawn ornaments line blocks and blocks of the Brooklyn community.
Even in the rain, the spectacle brought out holiday revelers, some from as far away as Brazil.
"We heard that New York in the Christmas time is the most beautiful place to be, and we want to see the Christmas lights, and we are amazed of how beautiful these lights are," said one person.
"It's actually real beautiful, and I can tell the people put a lot of work into these houses," said another.
A national real estate agency picked Dyker Heights as the best place in the country to go see Christmas lights.
