Police are searching for leads as they try to track down a driver who they say hit and killed a man walking in Brooklyn over the weekend.
Police say the 51-year-old victim was crossing Eastern Parkway at Rockaway Avenue when he was hit by a black four door sedan on Saturday night.
Police Commissioner Ray Kelly says right now the investigation hinges on finding surveillance video.
"The investigation is ongoing and one of the things we do, obviously, is check for cameras,” Kelly said. “That's the type of effort that's going on now.”
There have not been any arrests.
The driver left the scene before police arrived.
