Police are looking for three men in connection with the shooting of a 9-year-old boy in the Bronx on Wednesday.

Surveillance video allegedly shows the three men walking in the area before the shooting and leaving the scene afterward in a white Chevrolet Impala.

Police say the boy was walking along Crotona Park North in Tremont just before 4 p.m. Wednesday when he was hit in the foot.

He was taken to Jacobi Medical Center in serious but stable condition, and was later released.

Investigators say he was not the intended target, and that the three suspects were firing at three other men.

Anyone with information on the case should contact the Crime Stoppers hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS, or text CRIMES and then enter TIP577, or visit www.nypdcrimestoppers.com.
