Four people were injured, two critically, in a fire in a Bronx apartment building Thursday evening.

Flames broke out on the second floor of a six-story Carpenter Avenue building a little before 8 p.m. Thursday.

Officials say that in addition to the two critical injuries, there was one serious and one minor injury.

They were all taken to Jacobi Hospital.

It's unclear how many apartments were affected by the fire.
