Police are letting the Santa Clauses in town today know that they better watch out.

Red-suited revelers are braving the bad weather for the annual holiday pub crawl known as SantaCon.

There have been plenty of complaints about rowdy behavior in recent years, so police stepped in and asked several bars not to serve participants.

SantaCon organizers are doing what they can to help. They have been working with police and bringing in volunteers to help control the crowds.

"We actually have a handout we're giving people participating in SantaCon that urges them to of course to obey the law, consider their neighbors. We want them to enjoy themselves, but in a peaceful, lawful manner,” said Police Commissioner Ray Kelly.

To try to maintain order, alcohol will not be permitted on Metro-North and Long Island Railroad trains and stations from noon Saturday to noon Sunday.
