The British tourist who lost her leg after being hit by a cab over the summer has taken the first steps toward suing the city for millions.
Sian Green filed a notice of claim against the city.
She had a leg amputated and suffered brain trauma after being hit by a cab near Rockefeller Center in August.
The more than $27 million claim says the cabbie shouldn't have been on the road.
The Taxi and Limousine Commission admits the driver had prior driving violations that went undetected by the city because of a computer glitch.
That has since been corrected.
The city's Law Department says it will review the claim.
