The city Department of Health is warning New Yorkers about the risk of hearing loss when listening to loud music on headphones.

They're launching a new ad campaign that will appear in the subway, on the Internet and on the radio.

According to statistics, one out of four adults ages 18 to 44 have admitted to some type of hearing loss after regular headphone use.

For more information, visit nyc.gov and search "Preventing Hearing Loss".
