Police are looking for a man that they say stole thousands of dollars from a Queens church.

They released the above photo of the man they're trying to track down.

Police say it happened Wednesday at around 2:30 p.m. at the Saint Demetrios Greek Orthodox Cathedral in Astoria.

They say that the suspect easily entered the church because it was open and made off with $5,000.

They say he also stole jewelry.

Anyone with information on the case should contact the Crime Stoppers hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS, or text CRIMES and then enter TIP577, or visit www.nypdcrimestoppers.com.
