The Sanitation Department is kicking off a new recycling pickup program for electronics.

e-cycle NYC allows buildings with at least 10 units to schedule an on-site pickup of devices like TVs, computers, mobile phones, game consoles, VCRs and more.

Dozens of sites have already enrolled, and the city's private contractor partner made its first collection Thursday in Queens.

By 2015, it will be illegal for city residents to throw their electronics in the trash.
