The hunt is on for a pair of men who police say robbed two Columbia University students during a home invasion this week.

Police say the men, seen in surveillance photos, knocked on the door of an apartment on 111th Street in Morningside Heights shortly after 11 p.m. Monday.

When one of the men who lives in the apartment opened the door, the intruders pulled a gun and tied him up, asking "Where's the money?"

They took money and a cell phone, then assaulted the victim's roommate on the way out.

Anyone with information on the case should contact the Crime Stoppers hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS, or text CRIMES and then enter TIP577, or visit ClientIP:, UserAgent: CCBot/2.0 ( Profile: TWCSAMLSP
