Police are asking for the public's help in finding a man who allegedly dragged his victim several feet before robbing her of her purse in Brooklyn.
Police say the victim was walking on 57th Street in Sunset Park at around 11 p.m. when the suspect allegedly ran up behind her and grabbed her pocketbook.
According to police, the woman refused to let go of the pocketbook, so the suspect allegedly dragged her several feet.
Eventually, according to police, the suspect was able to get the pocketbook and ran off with it.
The woman suffered abrasions on her back and head.
She was treated at Maimonides Hospital and released.
The suspect is described as being in his 20s, about 5 feet, 10 inches tall and weighing about 140 pounds.
