Police say a fast-moving bank robber hit three Queens banks in the span of roughly an hour Saturday.
According to police, the first hold-up happened around 9 a.m. Saturday at a Chase Bank in Richmond Hill.
Police say the man passed a note demanding money, but the teller refused, and he fled empty-handed.
A similar incident happened just six minutes later, according to police, when a teller at a nearby Citibank ignored a note demanding cash from the same man.
According to police, the robber finally hit paydirt at an Astoria Federal Savings Bank in Jamaica, when a worker there surrendered $3,300.
The suspect is described as being in his 20s or 30s, 6 feet tall, weighing 185 to 200 pounds.
He was last seen wearing black sunglasses, a tan top and a black lumberjack-style hat.
