A Port Authority police officer is being credited with catching and arresting a homeless man who was seen groping a teenage girl near the Lincoln Tunnel Thursday.
John McConnoel, 56, is charged with two counts of sexual abuse and two counts of forcible touching.
Police say around 2 p.m. an officer saw McConnoel grab the female victim from behind.
During the arrest, another girl came forward and said that she too had been groped by the man.
Several people also came forward as witnesses.
