A year after Sandy brought the parade to a halt, the Greenwich Village Halloween Parade is back.
Organizers say enough money has been raised through kickerstarter to let ghosts, ghouls, and even gobblins take over Sixth Avenue on Halloween night.
Losses from the storm and new expenses threatened to stop the parade this year.
The parade runs up Sixth Avenue from Spring to 16th streets.
It steps off at 7 p.m.
