An annual business trade show draws thousands of small business owners and executives to the Javits Center.
The New York Business Expo and Conference, presented by Time Warner Cable Business Class, offered entrepreneurs a full day of exhibits, seminars and networking.
The tech-heavy conference featured demonstrations of new technologies, and seminars designed to keep businesses a step ahead of the competition--especially in this age of social media.
"It's been great,"said one attendee. "We have an opportunity to really learn a lot about what other people are doing, and that educates us as well."
"We also came out here to take advantage of the seminars. We thought that was really awesome, to gain some up-to-date information as far as what's going on in our industry," said another.
"The basic concept of the show is to help our audience understand the opportunities that exist rather than see the challenges as hurdles they can't overcome," said Marc Sherer of event management.
