Police continue to search for the man who they say tried to kidnap a 16-year-old girl in the Bronx.

It happened Saturday at the BX36 bus stop in Castle Hill.

They say he pulled up in a white van and grabbed the girl's arm, trying to force her inside.

She was able to fight him off and run away.

"I walk here day, night, with my son, going to stores, going to school, that's scary now. I didn't think that would happen around here," said one Castle Hill resident.

Police have released a sketch of the man.

He is described as being about six feet tall and was last seen wearing a dark blue Yankees cap.

Anyone with information on the case should contact the Crime Stoppers hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS, or text CRIMES and then enter TIP577, or visit ClientIP:, UserAgent: CCBot/2.0 ( Profile: TWCSAMLSP
