Police are looking for whoever killed a mother and her 21-year-old daughter in the Bronx Thursday night.
The New York City Police Department says the bodies of Ida Randolph, 55, and Jena Randolph, 21, were discovered by officers inside their home located at 2897 Valentine Avenue in Bedford Park.
Investigators say the women were bound with duct tape and were found in different rooms.
Both showed signs of head trauma.
"It's very shocking, it's very shocking," said one neighborhood resident.
"Knowing that that happening to two other people, them being women especially is, just it's disappointing. It's sad, it's really sad," said another neighborhood resident.
Police say they sent officers to the home when they got a call from a concerned family member who had not heard from the women in a while.
