Police have identified a suspect in the attack on a mother near Fort Tryon Park last Friday.

Investigators are looking for 35-year-old Oscar Ruiz.

They say they want to question him regarding the incident, in which they say the 33-year-old mother was attacked by a man holding a broken bottle.

Police say the woman used a tire pump from her stroller to fend off the attacker.

He then ran off when a cyclist came by.

Anyone with information on the case should contact the Crime Stoppers hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS, or text CRIMES and then enter TIP577, or visit www.nypdcrimestoppers.com.
