Hearings on Alex Rodriguez's suspension from baseball are underway.
Rodriguez arrived Monday at the headquarters of Major League Baseball.
He was given 211 game suspension in August for his alleged ties to a Florida clinic suspected of doling out performance-enhancing drugs to players.
The players' union is arguing that his suspension is excessive.
Rodriguez is being treated as a first offender under baseball's drug program, which means any suspension doesn't start unless it's upheld by an arbitrator.
A decision is not expected for a few months.
