A hit-and-run in Queens Saturday night left a teenager dead and now police are searching for the driver responsible.

According to police, Luis Bravo, 19, was killed while crossing the street in Woodside shortly before midnight.

The teen was said to be walking in the intersection of Broadway and 58th Street when he was struck by a dark colored sedan.

He was found unconscious and with severe trauma to his body and was taken to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.

"My brother was a dad to me, he was a hero," said the victim's sister. "He used to help me with basketball, with my homework, with everything else now he's gone and I don't know what to do."

Anyone with information on the case should contact the Crime Stoppers hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS, or text CRIMES and then enter TIP577, or visit www.nypdcrimestoppers.com.
