A judge has denied the city's appeal requesting access to footage from a documentary on the infamous Central Park jogger rape case.
The city asked to see outtakes from filmmaker Ken Burns' documentary "The Central Park Five," but Burns has fought the subpoena for more than a year.
The Bloomberg administration intended to use the material in connection with a legal battle between the men exonerated in the case and the city.
The judge's decision maintained that Burns' sources are protected under journalistic privilege.
The city said it's reviewing the decision and its legal options going forward.
