A St. George man was sentenced to 15 years in prison Tuesday for beating an elderly couple.

Law enforcement officials say Antoine Means pleaded guilty to first degree robbery as part of a plea deal.

Means was arrested more than two years ago for attacking 81-year-old Joseph Naimo and his 75-year-old wife, Linda, as they locked up their Tompkinsvile store.

Means and his alleged accomplice made off with just $18.

Linda Naimo's skull was fractured and she died about three weeks later.
