A man is charged with reckless endangerment after police say he spilled chemicals on a city bus, injuring two children.
Police say 32-year-old Ivan Ivanov carried drain cleaner onto a Q53 bus around 5:30 p.m. Saturday evening in Rego Park.
According to officials, Ivanoff spilled the cleaning agent onto two children, who were sitting on the floor of the bus.
Officials say they believe the spill was an accident.
The children were taken to the hospital with what officials say were minor burns.
