The Rainbow Room, Rockefeller Center's iconic nightclub in the sky, will soon reopen to the public.
The club closed down in 2009 over a landlord-tenant dispute.
But now, according to the company that operates the building, the club is scheduled to reopen with a new restaurant next fall.
The Rainbow Room first opened as a supper club in 1934, following the repeal of Prohibition.
Over the years, performers, such as Louis Armstrong, Tony Bennett and Tommy Dorsey, have graced the stage.
The city granted its interior landmark status last October.
