A 71-year-old bystander who was waiting for a bus is in the hospital after witnesses say he was pinned by a pickup truck following a two-car crash in Brooklyn Tuesday.

Cellphone video shows the moments immediately after the impact as first responders tried to free the victim, pinned by a pickup truck.

He was transported to the hospital in critical condition.

Eyewitnesses say the victim was waiting at a bus stop at the intersection of Bay Ridge Parkway and 13th Avenue in Dyker Heights when the pickup truck collided with a minivan and then ran onto the sidewalk.

Police haven't released a name for the victim.

Two other people suffered minor injuries.

Residents say there are many accidents at the busy intersection.

"It's more like NASCAR racing here," said witness Anthony Munno. "Everyone goes amongst their own speed, where they want. It's crazy."

"A little bit earlier, it could've been the kids for the bus stop going to school," said witness Kathleen Yeno.

The driver of the minivan was not injured.

No summonses have been issued.
