Police on Monday announced they have made an arrest in connection to a deadly hit-and-run in Queens over the weekend.

David Rojas, 19, is charged with leaving the scene of an accident resulting in death.

Investigators say while Rojas was driving, he is not the owner of the Dodge Caravan that struck and killed 79-year-old Cui Ju Yu Sunday afternoon at Junction Boulevard in Elmhurst.

The woman's grieving grandson wants the driver to face the consequences of his actions.

"That's all I really want. All my family members that's all we really want - find the guy, find the driver," said Winson Yu, the victim's grandson. "People like that shouldn't drive, definitely, I mean what he have don't to my grandma I'll never forgive him, whatever the reason behind it I'll still never forgive him. He hit her didn't even bother to stay call police and just left."

Police say they were able to track down the Caravan's owner through the license plate number and that the owner is cooperating with the investigation. ClientIP:, UserAgent: CCBot/2.0 ( Profile: TWCSAMLSP
