Midtown Manhattan got a taste of Mexico on Sunday, as the Mexican Day Parade hit Madison Avenue.
The parade marched 38th Street to 27th Street and featured music, dance and colorful costumes.
The event came in anticipation of Mexican Independence Day, which is being celebrated on Monday.
"I wanna hear the music and partake in the festivities and share and enjoy," said one parade goer.
"I like because people dance here, and they put on costumes and stuff," said another.
"My dress is from El Estado de Vera Cruz, and it represents the way they dress and their customs," said a third.
The Empire State Building is also shining in red, green and white for the occasion.
