A festival this weekend is celebrating Bedford-Stuyvesant's best food and art.
The fourth annual "Toast of Brooklyn" is meant to show Bedford-Stuyvesant in a different light while also promoting the area as open for business.
Organizers say that the festival's combination of the area's best drinks, dishes and music shows that Bed-Stuy is an entertainment and cultural hub.
"We want to showcase the other parts of Bed-Stuy, which is the food, which is the wines, which is all the cultural and social benefits that are here in Bed-Stuy," said organizer Joe Coello.
"Bed-Stuy is a very diverse neighborhood," said organizer Danny Simmons. "It's a neighborhood that is changing and growing, and the arts are a major part of that."
The festival runs through Saturday night.
