Traffic is once again moving across the Ed Koch Queensboro Bridge after a late morning fire took place on the span Monday.

Crews have completed their cleanup work, after an 18-wheel truck caught fire around 10 a.m. on the bridge's lower level.

There's no word on what sparked the flames.

The fire shut down the lower level of the span in both directions.

This is the second truck fire on the bridge in less than a month.

On August 16th, a truck caught fire on the bridge, sending out heavy smoke and snarling traffic for hours.
