The newest attraction on display outside at Barclays Center is a sculpture that stands 20 feet tall and weighs more than 10,000 pounds.
Entitled "Ona," the bronze statue is the work of Brooklyn-based artist Ursula von Rydingsvard.
She is known worldwide for large scale sculptures.
"To me, it's supposed to represent the vibrancy of Brooklyn," said David Berliner of Forest City Ratner. "I mean, the idea is to create a piece of public work that's going to respond to people emotionally and intellectually, and get people really excited about being here at the Barclays Center."
"It looks like something from under the sea," said one person.
"It looks like a stalactite or some type of geologic structure," said a third. "I think it's really cool."
