Seven baggage handlers at Kennedy Airport have been charged with stealing from passengers' luggage.

The Queens District Attorney says the seven men, who worked for El Al Airlines, stole electronics, cash and jewelry.

They were allegedly caught on surveillance video rifling through bags and removing items while they were supposed to be loading or unloading them.

El Al installed the cameras in response to several customer complaints beginning in April.

The DA says that the workers admitted to stealing, and many of the items were allegedly recovered in their homes and cars.

They face several charges, including grand larceny and possession of stolen property. ClientIP:, UserAgent: CCBot/2.0 ( Profile: TWCSAMLSP
