Police say they've figured out who fired at two officers from a pickup truck in Queens Thursday night.

Investigators say it was 61-year-old Gary Sarback of Lake Worth, Florida.

They say he robbed a woman earlier in the day Thursday.

Police discovered that the truck used to get away from that incident was stolen Tuesday in Florida, with a gun inside.

Officers tried to pull Sarback over at around 9 p.m. Thursday night in Astoria.

That's when police say he fired a shot at the officers, then sped off, clipping one of them.

They say he abandoned the vehicle a few blocks away at 37th Avenue and 24th Street.

A cellphone was found in the area, and police identified Sarback as their suspect.

The woman who was robbed and the officers who encountered Sarback are doing OK.

Anyone with information on the case should contact the Crime Stoppers hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS, or text CRIMES and then enter TIP577, or visit
