An early morning accident involving two yellow cabs in Midtown Friday was reportedly caused by a fight over a fare.

Investigators say one of the cabs jumped the curb went into the side of a building after striking a 20 foot scaffold near 36th Street and Sixth Avenue around 1:30 a.m.

Both drivers refused medical attention.

This is the second big accident in midtown this week.
