Community leaders want those who know who shot five people in Brooklyn Saturday afternoon to come forward.

Police say shots rang out around 2:15 p.m. near Knickerbocker Avenue and Menahan Street in Bushwick.

Police say three men and two women, who range in age from 22 to 62, were hit.

Witnesses say all the victims are related, and the shooting stemmed from an argument one of them had with the shooter on Friday.

"They threw a shake at her at McDonalds, so there should be pictures at that McDonalds of the incident that happened. They retaliate the next day, look this is what happened," said one witness. "They're friends. We're all friends, we're all family and friends here, we all know what's going on."

All the victims are expected to recover.

Anyone with information on the case should contact the Crime Stoppers hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS, or text CRIMES and then enter TIP577, or visit ClientIP:, UserAgent: CCBot/2.0 ( Profile: TWCSAMLSP
