A Queens victim of domestic violence is calling for her attacker to turn himself in.
Jennifer Altman, 26, has more than 2,000 stitches on her body and 700 in her face.
Speaking to reporters Wednesday in the East New York section of Brooklyn, Altman said she was stabbed on Friday by her 23-year-old husband, Dartanyan Kingsberry, after telling him she wanted a divorce.
"He slashed me seven times all over my body and just left me there to die," she said. "I just want to say to him, if you are watching this, if you are watching this, please, please turn yourself in because I don't want something worse to happen to you on these streets. As much as you have hurt me, please turn yourself in, because that is the best thing for you to do right now."
Police say he is wanted on charges of attempted murder.
Kingsberry is described as being 6-feet tall in hall and 180 pounds, with brown eyes and brown hair.
