Police are asking for help finding a man who they say escaped while being arrested in Harlem.

Authorities are looking for Lawrence Mason.

Police say the 52-year-old ran off from officers around 1 p.m. Saturday.

They say he was being arrested for drug possession at the 2/3 subway station at 116th Street and Lenox Avenue.

Police say Mason ran into the southbound side of the station and wasn't seen again.

Mason is from Queens.

He's described as 5 feet, 6 inches tall, weighing 140 pounds. He is said to have long black hair.

He was last seen wearing a black baseball hat, a black t-shirt, dark blue jeans and tan work boots.
