Police have identified a man they say stole $500 dollars from a 3-year-old.

Authorities are looking for 44-year-old Warren Hayes.

They say he took the money from a child last Friday after seeing the boy take the money out of his mother's jacket pocket while she shopped at a Bronx liquor store.

Hayes is described as being 5 feet, 1 inch tall and weighing 240 pounds.

Anyone with information on the case should contact the Crime Stoppers hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS, or text CRIMES and then enter TIP577, or visit www.nypdcrimestoppers.com.
