Several people were injured Wednesday morning in Brooklyn after a car smashed into a deli storefront.
It happened around 6:15 a.m. at the corner of Fifth Avenue and 9th Street in Park Slope.
Fire officials say two cars were involved, but only one crashed into the building.
One deli worker said had it been later in the morning, things could have been worse.
"There was some customers in here. I was serving customers, and the other guy behind the counter. We just talking and making jokes as every day. All of the sudden, you know, the car running into store like a bomb," recalled the employee.
The city fire department says four people were injured.
Two were taken to Methodist Hospital with minor injuries.
An investigation is ongoing.
