Former congressman Anthony Weiner is sending out more signals that he's interested in joining the race to City Hall.

Weiner has laid out his policies in a report called "Keys to the City".

It contains 64 ideas Weiner says can help keep New York the capital of the middle class.

In it, he says, "My philosophy is what's good for middle class New Yorkers is good for the city as a whole. Those aspiring to join the middle class -- not to mention the many families who live in poverty despite holding full time jobs -- need an economic engine to harness the energy of those willing to work hard."

Among his proposals: Launching a single payer health care program for uninsured and underinsured New Yorkers, adjusting city tax brackets for inflation, and making city tax rates more progressive by cutting middle class taxes while creating a new rate for the wealthy.

Weiner has until the June filing deadline to decide whether to run for mayor.

He resigned from Congress nearly two years ago after admitting he sent lied about sending photographs of himself to women he met online. ClientIP:, UserAgent: CCBot/2.0 ( Profile: TWCSAMLSP
