Police are looking for the brazen burglar responsible for a one-night crime spree in Washington Heights.

Authorities say the man burglarized four apartments in three buildings.

All of the incidents happened in a four and a half hour span in the middle of last month.

Police say the man got into the apartments from a rear alley all of the buildings shared.

In three cases, the burglar used the fire escape to climb through windows.

Money, electronics and jewelry were taken from three of the apartments.

"If you look around right now, there are police officers on every corner," one resident said. "So, I don't understand how something like this happened."

Anyone with information on the case should contact the Crime Stoppers hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS, or text CRIMES and then enter TIP577, or visit www.nypdcrimestoppers.com.
