The city medical examiner's office says two potential human remains from the September 11th attacks have been discovered during a new round of sifting.

The latest round began Monday and is expected to last for around 10 weeks.

Almost 16,000 cubic feet of debris found at or near the World Trade Center site since 2010 is being analyzed at Fresh Kills on Staten Island.

Out of the 2,750 victims killed in the attack, only 1,634 have been positively identified.
