Undocumented youths rallied in Union Square Thursday for the fourth year in a row.
The rally was part of a national campaign in which youth are coming out as "undocumented, unafraid and unapologetic".
"We empower youth like myself to drop the fear of being undocumented and come out and share their stories, like today," said Diana Eusebio of the New York State Youth Leadership Council. "We're not going anywhere. We're no longer in the shadows. We are here. You can see us. You can hear us."
Counterprotesters say the U.S. should not grant amnesty to people who are in the country illegally.
