Family and friends gathered Tuesday at a wake for a 24-year-old Queens man who died over the weekend after suffering a brutal beating from a nightclub bouncer.

Police say 27-year-old bouncer Kristian Sorbera kicked and punched Deosarran Ramdular outside Club Moka in Jamaica last Monday, knocking him unconscious.

Ramdular's family took him off life support after doctors declared him brain dead.

At his South Ozone Park home, Ramdular's father, Ramdular Baboolall, called for action against his son's assailant.

"I'm hoping that the law would proceed with this case here and make sure that this person that is involved get the maximum punishment," Baboolall said. "If possible, death sentence."

Sorbera is being charged with murder.

His bail is set at $500,000.
